From all the announcements regarding Microsoft Stream this years here are some that caught my attention.

You'll have to bare with me, being a francophone living and a french environment my English still needs work.

Revamped UI and new features

Stream will come with a complete revamped UI that will also have some with great addition such as being able to chapters videos and add annotations and SharePoint / teams sites video portals.

Revamped user interface with more flexibility and features to come such as video search, analytics, sharing and governance label for better storage management auto delete meeting recording after 60 days.

New Microsoft Stream Web App

There is so much more!

  • Teams recording saved in SharePoint/OneDrive (covered in Teams article)
  • Search for video and transcript with Microsoft Search
  • All the analytics you have on document now available on videos
  • Better governance management with label and automatic meeting deletion
  • Share your video like you share any documents
  • Same admin capabilities that apply on documents now applies on videos.
